We have a daughter....
We got the call Friday @ around 2PM.
Her name is Jiang Cheng Guan. She was found on May 11, 2007 at the back gate of the YangJieng City #2 Middle School. She was wearing a flowery infant shirt and wrapped in a red towel. At almost a year old she weighs 18 lbs. We don't have much more info than this now. Monday (tomorrow) we will go to the adoption agency and see the whole packet from China, including her picture. We will post immediately...
Her Orphange is the JiangCheng Social Wefare Institute in Guangdong Province. She is in the southern part of China (where they speak Cantonese) and is very close to the South China Sea.

Guess who is excited in Wyoming! Now there is another jabberbox in our future. . .
Congratulations and love to you all.
Congratulations!!! We've been waiting a long time. It is so exciting to finally be able to welcome her into the loving circle of this family (yes, I'm talkin' "we" 'cause I feel like a part of your family too). Every child deserves to be wanted and well-loved...she has been both for more than 2 years (even before she was born). So much more discovery and growth is ahead for us all. So, happy travels to China and back.
Love you all,
K
welcome to the Jiang Cheng Family . My daughter was Jiang Cheng Cheng and I adopted her Dec 3 2007. They are beautiful and well taken care of and you can pretty much take any weight and measurements as truth. Congrats to you what a true blessing.
Lieblingk from RQ
Sue and Scott - are you adopting from BAAS? We are Jen and Joe, and just received a referral from BAAS. I believe we will be travelling together if you are the family I am thinking of :)
